Confessions of the daily grind that are made interesting with humor and sprinkled with love

Hope this blog finds everyone in good health and great spirits. Things have been somewhat out of sorts for me this month; have been trying to deal with everything with composure but some of the time I am finding that hard to do! Oh well I hope I learn a lesson from all my experiences and can relate to others with a little bit more compassion and empathy than I usually have.
Work this month has been it usual self I have gotten a lot of items cleared off my desk and I really do like working with Heidi Driggs my right hand :0). Its really nice to be able to trust someone to do things the right way (that sound like I'm so nitpicky about things and its true I am especially at work.) I have also been preparing for our vacation next month by writing down all the destinations that I would like to visit and then finding out as much as possible about them. So far I have the Barrier Island in Georgia, Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, Nags head, Kitty hawk, New York City is a whole package in itself; these are just few I think I may be a little busy this time around but I am really excited to get away from it all.
I really haven't been up to anything to exciting this month. Just relaxing trying to heal and help Alex with little things. We still haven't finished the bathtub but I am still not feeling up to it and I know it will definately be waiting when the time is right. Alex got this bright idea this past weekend on buying glass containers that he has pre-packed with meals for the week so he can just get up and go in the morning it is actually nice to look in the fridge and see that all taken care of. Alex has also been getting some inquires on his letters he sent out on land in North Carolina, so that has been exciting, if we can actually find any to purchase will be the truly exciting bit we'll see...
This month also marked Alex's 24th birthday on June 1st and our 3rd anniversary on the 5th. For Alex's birthday I had a plan for renting jet ski's but I didn't get it pulled togther because I needed to get a hitch installed on the pickup but come to find out it was a hitch that is rather expensive so I wrote Alex a list of goals that I had for myself (he had requested this a while ago) and then made him a card, I'll have to find someplace that rents jet skis on the way up the eastern coast to finish the celebration. Our anniversary was a very nice quite evening, I got Alex a watch and he got me an anniversary band we both loved them, I also got flowers and taken to the movies, Sex and the city which I found quite entertaining so I was rather spoiled :). Speaking of movies we actually have been frequenting the local Cinemark quite a bit, we saw Don't mess with the Zohan and I thought it was rather silly but I like going with Alex to these silly movies because I like watching him laugh.
Anyhow I better wrap up this my first blog! I hope to do this regulary and I hope you all enjoy reading about my little life here :) I love you all
